I have been practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa for 11 years. For 8 years, I have been teaching and was an assistant to my teacher. My story is not just about yoga. 7 years ago, I had a serious accident. Pelvic injuries, arm injuries, traumatic brain injury, coma, surgeries. I had to relearn how to walk — and the doctors were not sure it would be possible. And here's what's important: I didn't "return to yoga" — I got through all of this because of yoga.
